Nominated for seven Grammy's, in 2006 David Reitzas received
his fourth Grammy for mixing the multi-platinum album
“Mexico En La Piel” for international recording artist Luis Miguel.
 In 2005, the same album won in the category “Best Ranchero Album”
and Reitzas received his first Latin Grammy.
 
Reitzas also received a Grammy in 1991 for
“Best Engineered Album” (Natalie Cole’s Unforgettable) and
again in 1999 for “Best Pop Album” as engineer/mixer on
Madonna’s Ray of Light.
 
In 2001, David Reitzas received an Emmy award,
“Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety or Television Special,”
for his recording and mixing of Barbra Streisand’s
Timeless, The Millennium Concert.
 
In 1996, as recordist and scoring mixer, he helped Evita to
receive an Oscar nomination for Best Sound and an Oscar Win for
Best Original Song, “You Must Love Me.”
 
In 2001, Reitzas recorded and mixed the nominated Best Song
“A Love Before Time” from the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden
Dragon
, and in 1992, he recorded the nominated Best Song
“I Have Nothing” from the movie The Bodyguard.
 
Throughout his career Reitzas has worked side by side with some
of the top Artists and Producers in the industry. He has recorded
everything from single instruments to over 100 piece orchestras for
records, film, television and live performances.
